Looking back, moving forward
As in previous years (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), here is my annual recap of how my year unfolded.
In January, I created another custom chalkboard for the Miele store.
In February, prices kept rising...
In March, I shared twelve tasty illustrations I created for Mark Pupo's new cookbook, Sundays. Book available here!
In April, I created a huge custom mural for Axis Communications.
I also taught a fun sign painting workshop at Shortfinger Brewing Co.
And created an extra special, extra-colourful hand-painted commission.
In June, I created some new graphics for Pride.
In July, I taught a sign painting workshop at ARTiculations Art Supply in Toronto.
I also did some branding and custom window painting for the new and improved Old York Tavern.
In August, I dropped my Ontario Fruit t-shirts. You can get yours here!
In September, I was thrilled to be part of the (huge) "It Starts with Wonder" campaign for Wonderbread, which included new art, special content for social media, and feature in the TV commercial and Wonder website!
In October, I offered a private sign painting workshop for SEGD at Entro.
I also taught another sign painting workshop at ARTiculations Art Supply.
In November, I got to offer a special Honest Eds sign painting workshop at RGD Design Thinkers conference in Toronto. I also painted two more custom window transoms.
In December, I had a large commissioned piece of art featured in CBC's show "Sort Of". I also painted a big custom holiday banner for Pupo's Supermarket in Welland.
2023 was full of fun and creative challenges. I am grateful to continue doing the work that I love. I look forward to what 2024 will bring.
Thanks again!
